Of course I want to protect her because she's been my best friend for 17 years but still, I just can't understand. And you know, I can't. Something tells me that if you do choose to contact your birth mother, it won't go that way. I am a little envious of your rural upbringing. You were very lucky in that. Glad you're enjoying the sun!
